Technical Specifications ¤ Off-site photography – Digital, CDRom, Slides,
or Prints. We
specialise in the creation of imagery using Adobe PhotoShop,
Adobe ImageReady, Kai’s Power Tools, Extensis
PhotoTools & Extensis Mask Pro using either client
or agency supplied images, or original imaginative spikevideo creations,
or a combination of these. Presentations can be made for single, dual, or
triple screens, plus multi-image projection plus “picture-in-picture” - a
mixture of data and video for the best quality or Videowalls in Video, Data
formats, or a mixture, including multiple VGA resolutions all at once. "Widescreen" 16:9 or "Letterbox" 14:9 ratio can be created or simulated. Several different sources and formats playing at once are a given. Importation
from a variety of sources in a variety of formats – Digital Camera serial,
SCSI, PCMCIA, SD; Video camera via Firewire or Avid Digital Video;
HP scanner; Zip & Jaz disks; CDR, CDRW, PCMCIA Cards, SD Cards, USB Flash Drive; DVD, DVD-R, MPEG, JMPG, MOV, miniDV, or email. There
are technical restrictions with some formats if being created for large presentation
displays. Creation
of a variety of presentation standalone formats including PowerPoint, Scala,
Infochannel, Pani Projector slides, 35mm slides, Web, or plain processed files.
Imagery for Avid Digital Video also created, especially where graphics and
video are to be shown overlapping using scan-conversion via vision mixers
or up-scanned using data mixers. The imagery from these two formats normally
need to be matched in colour and size (see Operation and Video). File

Exports: All
formats except Generic eps, pcd, & flm. Transfer
to Video in Beta SP, SVHS, VHS, DVCam, DVPro,
miniDV. Other formats on request. Colour: Colours
of logos or backgrounds can be specified in RGB, CMYK, LAB, HSB, PMS, or ‘Resene
Paint’ numbers. Resolution: If
resulting imagery is for video then 800x600pixels at 300 dpi is the preferred minimum resolution
(gif resolution is normally too low for other than small logo IDs).
“Indexed colour” files (from web pages) are not always transferred successfully
to RGB when matching logos, so colour numbers may need to be supplied separately.
